I almost never do that now. Is it in anyway less forgiving? Personally I love the sound off the face, far far better and superior to the dull cricket bat thud of the Cobra L4V I’ve exchanged it for. The FT-3 is an intimidating driver to look at at address. Tried this on the way to picking a new big dog and although I never decided to put it in my bag I loved almost everything about it, FT-I’s and FT-5’s are undoubtedly brilliant clubs, but for this price you can’t go wrong. We were all quite impressed. It seems to go straighter than my old driver but the lenght is almost exactly the same.

I have always been a pretty straight-to-draw hitter and I just needed a bit bigger head than the ERC Fusion for extra forgiveness when I really wanted to go go for flat out swings. Slightly stange sound but hey if rusion goes yds it can sound any way it likes!
I was in a tournament a couple of days ago and I walked off 4 drives;, and Good value for money, and easier to hit than my old clubs.
Callawwy the golf season in full swing across the U. No miracle either, the ball is still not remote controlled, but it’s reasonably forgiveable on mis-hits.
All I have to do now is tweek the shafts until I get the one that gives me the trajectory I caolaway. The tepid gray-black-yellow color scheme of the ERC Fusion is left behind for a shiny black and orange palette on the FT I found your review very helpful and assuring and am excited to go out and watch the ball fly.
I doubt that the sound would keep anyone from buying this driver, especially after they launch a few drives with it.
Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT-3 Driver Review (Clubs, Review) – The Sand Trap
A nice combination, to be sure. The club itself is fantastic.
Sorry, there was an error in submitting your review. The Postage of my driver is too much, But Need ther Driver so much. Having a natural out-to-in swing, I have to fight fades and slices all the time, especially with a driver.
Even with the wind, in the air is a pretty good poke for me. Personally I love the sound off the face, far far better and superior to the dull cricket bat thud of the Cobra L4V I’ve exchanged it for. The performance is outstanding, and it is a flat-out fun driver to hit. My playing partner, a 23 handicapper, even had a go with it and gained results that neither of us had seen him do before.
I am Living in Brunei Darussalam. Excellent driver and I have no hesitation in recommending it. The club isnt the only thing that i love though, callaway customer service is by far the BEST in the business.
Some say it makes a bad noise, ignore them it sounds great. Friends suggested, with vraious degrees draaw derision, that the fault lay with me, not the club. So in conclusion it looks amazing, fision fantastic and added 40 yards to my driving, which was long anyway.
Noticed immediately that my ball stops in the air longer and it has added extra yardage to drives. But it is a positive, confident sound that matches the smooth feel you notice at impact.
It is a shame that callaway have stopped making them: The Tour version dispenses of the chevron on the crown, which is a first for a club carrying the Big Fuskon name. I almost never do that now.
Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT-3 Driver Review
Even into the breeze the carry was glorious. During my senior Tournement recently 22nd. Think FT-5 would suit younger player with faster handspeed. If you can see past the callaway thump then you will find a very good piece of kit that hits it miles.
Dont think twice just get one. Conclusion For the first time since the ERC II five years ago, Callaway Golf has a driver that stands out from everything else in terms of design and performance.
